Terms of Service

Effective and last updated: July 10, 2026 ยท Terms version 5

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Severo app and public website. Severo is provided by Renan Bredariol. You accept these Terms when you affirmatively accept them during account creation or a required legal update in the app. Merely viewing the public website does not create a Severo app account.

Using Severo

Severo is intended for adults 18 years or older. You may not create or use an account if you are under 18. If you accept these Terms, you confirm that you meet this eligibility requirement.

You may use Severo for personal fitness planning, nutrition and hydration tracking, workout tracking, progress review, and account management. Severo is a general wellness, tracking, and fitness organization app.

You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use it in a way that violates applicable law. You are responsible for deciding whether the app, its settings, and any information you enter or review are appropriate for your situation.

Accounts

You are responsible for providing accurate account information and keeping your password and one-time verification or recovery codes secure. Do not share them with other people or include them in support messages. Severo support will not ask you to disclose a password or one-time code.

Email account creation and password recovery use a one-time code sent by email and entered in the app. Authentication options may depend on the platform, app version, and provider availability. Contact Severo promptly if you believe your account or credentials have been compromised.

Sensitive health and fitness data

Severo processes profile, body, nutrition, hydration, weight, workout, exercise, and progress information that you choose to enter or generate in the app. Because this information can concern or reveal health, Severo treats it as sensitive health and fitness data.

By creating an account or accepting updated Terms in the app, you specifically authorize Severo to process this sensitive health and fitness data to provide the account-backed features you choose, including setup, tracking, history, export, deletion, privacy, and support features.

You also specifically authorize the transfer and storage of this account-backed app data with Supabase in the United States (Ohio), as described in the Privacy Policy. Without this authorization, Severo cannot provide its account-backed health and fitness tracking areas.

Fitness, health, and professional advice limits

Severo provides fitness organization and tracking tools. Severo is not a medical device, medical service, emergency service, clinician, dietitian, personal trainer, physical therapist, rehabilitation provider, or substitute for professional advice.

Do not use Severo to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease, injury, or medical condition. The app does not provide medical nutrition therapy, clinical meal planning, injury screening, physical therapy, rehabilitation programming, emergency guidance, or individualized professional supervision.

If you have an injury, pain, pregnancy, a medical condition, medication use, eating-disorder history, allergies, or another health concern, consult a qualified professional before relying on nutrition, calorie, workout, or exercise features.

Nutrition estimates and food data

Calories, macros, TDEE, calorie goals, weight projections, nutrition targets, serving conversions, and similar outputs are estimates for tracking and organization. They are not prescriptions, guarantees, medical advice, dietitian advice, or promises of a particular result or timeline.

Food catalog, barcode, serving, and prebuilt-product data may be inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, mismatched, or user-provided. Product labels, serving sizes, and manufacturer information can change. You are responsible for verifying labels and other source information when accuracy matters.

If Severo later adds AI, photo-based, inferred, or automated nutrition features, those outputs must be treated as estimates and not as professional advice.

Workout and exercise safety

Workout recommendations, routines, exercise lists, progression views, prior logged values, and session tools are general fitness organization features. They are not individualized injury-aware programming, professional coaching, form assessment, rehabilitation, or a direction to use a particular exercise, load, pace, volume, or progression.

You are responsible for choosing safe equipment, a safe environment, appropriate technique, exercise substitutions, loads, reps, rest, and intensity. Previous weights, reps, routines, or achievements are logged history, not a recommendation that they are safe for a future session.

Stop exercising and seek appropriate help if you experience sharp or worsening pain, dizziness, chest pain, unusual shortness of breath, faintness, or other unsafe symptoms.

AI and reference media

Exercise GIFs, images, thumbnails, and cues may include AI-generated or reference media. They may contain errors, omissions, or movements that are not appropriate for you. They are provided for general reference only and are not form assessment, professional instruction, or a substitute for learning safe technique from a qualified professional.

Your content and user-provided data

You remain responsible for the information you enter into Severo, including custom foods, barcode links, meal entries, exercises, workouts, notes, logged values, profile settings, and goals. You should verify user-created or imported information before relying on it.

Severo processes this information only for the purposes and legal bases described in the Privacy Policy. These Terms do not replace consent where consent is required. You should not upload or enter information that you do not have the right to use.

Severo content and permitted use

The app, website, visual identity, software, interfaces, catalogs, and Severo-provided content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, Severo gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable permission to use the service for its intended purpose.

You may not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, interfere with, or commercially exploit the service except where applicable law expressly permits it. This permission does not transfer ownership of Severo content or of content belonging to another person.

Privacy, export, and deletion

The Privacy Policy explains how Severo handles personal data. You can request account deletion in Settings > Privacy and data, through the public Account deletion page, or by emailing support@severofit.app.

After an authenticated server deletion succeeds, Severo deletes the authentication account and active app-owned account data. The app then starts account-data cleanup on that device and reports any local items that could not be cleared. Limited records are retained only where permitted by law, under an applicable legal basis, and for the necessary period. Temporary backups remain isolated until overwritten or expired under the provider's backup cycle. Provider schedules do not override Severo's controller responsibilities or your rights.

Readable exports and files you save outside the app are your responsibility to store, share, or delete safely.

Payments

Severo currently does not offer paid features, subscriptions, trials, renewals, in-app purchases, or premium entitlements. If paid features are introduced, the applicable price, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms will be presented before purchase as required by the relevant store and applicable law.

Availability, changes, and consumer rights

Severo may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app or website. Severo may update these Terms when the service, legal requirements, platform requirements, or business needs change. The updated version will show a new last updated date, and material updates may require renewed acceptance before continued account use.

Severo is provided without a guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, complete, or compatible with every device or operating system. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.

Third-party services, operating systems, networks, app stores, and service providers may affect availability or operation. To the extent permitted by law, Severo is not responsible for losses caused solely by inaccurate user-provided or third-party data, use contrary to the health and safety warnings in these Terms, or events outside Severo's reasonable control. This does not exclude liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Suspension and ending use

You may stop using Severo at any time and may request account deletion as described above. Severo may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate misuse or security risk, comply with law, or address a material violation of these Terms. Where appropriate and legally permitted, Severo will use reasonable efforts to provide notice or a way to contact support.

Provisions that by their nature should continue after account closure remain applicable, including provisions about user responsibility, intellectual property, retained records, disclaimers, and applicable law.

Applicable law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Before starting a dispute, you may contact support@severofit.app so Severo can try to resolve the issue. Nothing in these Terms requires you to waive access to the ANPD, consumer-protection bodies, courts, or the competent forum and remedies available under applicable law.
