Delete your Severo account

You can request deletion of your Severo account and associated app data using the steps below.
How to request deletion
To delete your account in the app:
- Open Severo.
- Go to Settings.
- Open Privacy and data.
- Choose the account deletion option and follow the prompts.
You can also request deletion by email:
Include the email address used for your Severo account so we can locate it.
An in-app request is verified through your authenticated session. An email request may require additional account context. Never send your password, a verification or recovery code, or a session credential.
What is deleted
After an authenticated server deletion succeeds, Severo deletes your authentication account and active app-owned account data. This includes profile, body and goals data, app preferences, nutrition and hydration records, workout records, and other active app-owned records connected to that account. The app then starts account-data cleanup on that device and reports any local items that could not be cleared.
What may be retained
Limited records are retained only where permitted by law, under an applicable legal basis, and for the necessary period. Temporary backup copies are isolated from ordinary use until overwritten or expired under the provider's backup cycle. Support, privacy-request, and legal or security records are retained only as needed to handle a request, comply with obligations, or exercise or defend rights. Provider schedules do not override Severo's controller responsibilities or your rights.
Files or readable exports that you saved or shared outside Severo are not deleted automatically.
Timing
Server deletion is completed only after the server confirms it. If server deletion fails, the app does not present it as completed; you can retry or contact support. If a local cleanup step cannot complete after server deletion succeeds, the app reports items to review. We review email requests after verifying account context. Temporary backup copies and lawfully retained records expire or are handled on the limited schedules described above.
